Choosing one of the seven models of the 2024 Toyota Tundra is the first step towards a long and successful car ownership journey. To help you make this decision, we’ll explore the trim levels available and highlight their standout features.

1. SR
The base trim, SR, is already a highly capable workhorse right off the bat. Thanks to a beastly engine that outputs 358 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, the SR makes light work of any challenge you throw at it. Inside, you’ll find all the comfort and convenience features you’ve grown to love in Toyota cars, including a responsive infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, a nine-speaker audio system, and USB ports.
The SR is available in two cabin styles: Double Cab and Crew Max. The Crew Max is ideal if you have kids, pets, or other passengers to haul around, as it offers generous space and comfort for everyone on board. If bed space is a key consideration, select the Double Cab.
2. SR5
The next rung up is the SR5: a 389-hp work machine that’s ready for action every time you step on the gas. On top of all the best features of the base trim, the SR5 adds Tow/Haul mode (which provides additional pulling, stopping, or steering power when needed), a tow hitch receiver, and a power horizontal or vertical rear window.
3. Limited
The Limited is the first model in the Tundra lineup to offer a hybrid engine as an option. Producing 437 horsepower, the hybrid engine provides a remarkably powerful alternative to the gas-only 389-hp engine.
Other notable upgrades on the Limited trim include heated and ventilated power-adjustable seats, a 14-inch touchscreen, and bigger wheels. In addition, the seats on this model are trimmed with SofTex, a type of synthetic leather designed to be comfortable, durable, and easy to clean.
4. Platinum
Next-level comfort defines the Platinum trim, as it upgrades the Limited model with heated and ventilated leather seats, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a premium 12-speaker JBL audio system, rain-sensing wipers, a wireless charger, and a panoramic glass sunroof.
5. 1794 Edition
The 1794 Edition carries over the best features of the Platinum trim and adds a chrome-accented grille, a Rich Cream or Saddle Brown interior, and American walnut wood trim inlays.
6. TRD Pro
Available exclusively as a hybrid model, the TRD Pro is well-equipped to take on any terrain. It comes with a unique grille design, all-terrain tires, an LED light bar, marker lights, a special camo upholstery pattern, sports pedals, and off-roading cameras.
7. Capstone
The aptly named Capstone is the cream of the Tundra lineup. It builds on the Platinum and adds 22-inch alloy wheels, power running boards, a cargo bed step, a two-tone white-and-black interior, a futuristic ten-inch Head-Up Display, and a dark American walnut wood-grain interior trim.
