With its modern design, advanced tech, and outstanding electrified performance, the 2025 Toyota bZ4X should be a serious contender when you’re looking to make the move to electric. We look at the three trim levels that enable drivers to customize this crossover SUV to their preferences and needs.

1. XLE

First is the XLE, a front-wheel-drive SUV that produces an impressive 201 horsepower and 196 pound-feet of torque. The bZ4X’s exterior is a blend of classic Toyota styling and modern elements, with the XLE boasting a ducktail rear spoiler, 18-inch alloy wheels, and bi-LED projector headlights. Even as the entry-level model, the XLE is equipped with plenty of desirable features, such as LED daytime running lights, a power liftgate, and heated side mirrors with integrated puddle lamps.

Inside, the panoramic sunroof makes the cabin feel bright and airy. SofTex and fabric line the seat, while the dashboard, armrest, and center console feel soft to the touch. Drivers enjoy the comfort of an eight-way power-adjustable seat with lumbar support. Data, including warning messages, gauges, charging information, and a trip timer, is delivered via a seven-inch instrument display. Infotainment comes courtesy of a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone compatibility, SiriusXM, and 4G Wi-Fi hotspot capability.

2. Nightshade

New for 2025 is the Nightshade, a sportier and more capable bZ4X. This trim is the only one that comes with a second electric motor as standard, transforming it into an all-wheel drive SUV that kicks out an impressive 214 ponies and 248 pound-feet of torque.

Dark elements upgrade the Nightshade’s exterior, including black 20-inch multi-spoke wheels, black badging, and a black split-roof spoiler at the rear. The sporty touches continue inside, with the heated front seats and heated steering wheel finished with red contrast stitching.

3. Limited

Although the Limited reverts to the styling of the XLE, it adds chrome accents on the grille and window surrounds, giving it a more sophisticated appearance. Toyota’s top trim also introduces more premium features, such as multi-LED headlights and a liftgate that can be opened with a simple foot gesture.

Inside, the seats are fully lined in SofTex, and the front seats now have a ventilation function to provide instant coolness on hot days. Ambient lighting allows you to adjust the mood within the cabin. Drivers receive an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a 360-degree monitor, which provides a bird’s-eye view of your vehicle and its surroundings when reversing and moving at slow speeds.

Thanks to its affordable price tag, the bZ4X is putting eco-friendly driving within the reach of drivers everywhere. To explore the full lineup and find the bZ4X that’s right for you, contact us or visit Woodrum Toyota of Macomb in Macomb, IL, today.
